Ryan attended the University of Colorado at Boulder and received both a Bachelors, as well as a Masters degree in Accounting. During his time in college, he interned with KPMG and was one of 13 selected among all public accounting interns nationwide to participate in the Global Internship Program. In the program, Ryan spent a month auditing various companies in Sweden where he gained invaluable experiences. He also interned for Anadarko Petroleum Corporation spending a summer in Denver, and another in Houston before joining Anadarko’s Denver office as a full-time rotational accountant.
Although his experience at Anadarko was instrumental in his development and knowledge, he could not pass up the opportunity to join the family firm. Ryan is Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and 6 (Uniform Combined State Law Exam) licensed. He has also earned the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
Ryan also was a Ralphie Handler at CU, with his most memorable run being his Rookie year game where he ran alongside Christopher. When he is not at work, Ryan loves to hunt, fish, and tire himself out with all the outdoor adventures that Colorado has to offer. Don’t be surprised if he talks your ear off about his truck without you asking about it! Cars and trucks are his hobby when he is not trying to save client’s from paying too much money to Uncle Sam.
